svn checkout from VS2008 yields error

Jun 6, 2010 at 6:23 PM

I tried to checkout the current Calcium Projrect into VS2008 using the embedded AnKHSvn

and got when trying to list from https://calcium.codeplex.com/svn

<XML data was not well formed>

Any clues or an advice how to best checkout the current sources?

Dear Daniel, dear Calcium team,

I posted this question a month ago and haven't got an answer within the last month.

Today I'm turning again to you asking for instructions to

checkout the Calcium project into VS2008.

I found, that using the URL https://calcium.svn.codeplex.com/svn

doesn't yield the above error. But it takes so long to get results from that URL

that I gave up in the first place. Now that I'm trying harder, after stepping down directory for directoy, each time waiting about 5 minutes

I found https://calcium.svn.codeplex.com/svn/Source/Calcium/Calcium/CalciumDesktopClr.cln

This also gets along with 2-3 KB/s then when it starts to check out I get 150KB/s

and finally it ends up with an error:

(In case the screenshot doesn't make it:

/!\ Unable to read the project file 'Calcium.Client.Lauincher.csproj'.

     C:\Users\...Projects\CalciumDesktopClr(1)\Calcium.Client.Launcher\Calcium

     .Client.Launcher.csproj(205,11): The imported project

     "C:\Users\Libraries\AppConfigVerifier\Verifier.targets" was not found.

I would very much appreciate a recipe to install the current Calcium project from SVN.

Thanks.

Hi Christoph, The AppConfigVerifier is a custom MSBuild task. It is present in the repository, in the Libraries\AppConfigVerifier directory, but it looks like you don't have it. I use the Visual Studio TFS connector for codeplex, so I'm afraid I can't help you with SVN. You may want to ask on a Codeplex forum, as using SVN is not Calcium specific. Regards, Daniel
